President of Purity Water Company and has been with the company since 1983.

Holds advanced accreditation in water softening, filtration, reverse osmosis, deionization, ultra-filtration, and high purity water treatment. Wes has also completed training for pharmaceutical and dialysis water treatment and water regulations.

Has achieved the highest level of certification through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the National Water Quality Association (WQA).

Past President of the District Five Dealer Franchise Association serving Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, representing approximately 40 water treatment companies.

Member of numerous trade and professional organizations. Wes currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Water Quality Association and the advisory board of the Northwest Vista College Advanced Water Treatment Program.

Holds two patents in ultra high purity water treatment technology, has presented at several water treatment conferences and teaching symposiums, and has authored and co-authored several published articles related to the industry.

Brad Pritchett
General Manager/Advisory Board

Mr. Pritchett, Former General Manager and business consultant, now retired, serves on the company’s advisory board. Brad has over 25 years of experience in the field of operations and distribution responsible for managing business units with annual budgets ranging from $15 to $300 million and 30 to 400 staff members. Brad joined our company January 2005 to bring his extensive and in-depth knowledge of efficiency and productivity analysis, process engineering, development of training and communication standards and implementation to our company. Abraham (Abe) Caballero
Operations Manager

Mr. Caballero, serves as the company’s Operations Manager. Abe brings over 17 years of experience in the regeneration of high purity Ion Exchange resin and technical field service. Abe’s extensive background in servicing the needs of Semiconductor manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device manufacturing and Power Generation will serve our customers well. Abe’s personal commitment to customer satisfaction is already yielding noticeable improvement in the areas of Ion Exchange resin finished product quality, decreased turn-around time, increased responsiveness to scheduled and unscheduled service request, more effective project and inventory management, and most importantly improved customer communication. Abe began his career in 1984 with Water Management, which later became Ionics Ultra Pure Corporation, in San Jose, California where he played key roles throughout the company’s rapid growth and in numerous projects. Some of Abe’s more notable projects include: designing, fabricating, starting up and providing operational training on some of the largest high purity resin regeneration facilities in the United States and in Asia, in addition to Hewlett Packard in Corvallis, CA., IDT in San Jose, CA., SEMATECH in Austin, TX., Arkansas Power & Light, Chiron Pharmaceuticals and Genentech.

Richard Martinez
Senior Account Representative

Mr. Martinez,a senior account representative, previously served as the company’s Operations Manager located within the Sony Semiconductor site in San Antonio, Texas where Purity Water provided day-to-day operation and supervision of Sony’s deionized water and industrial waste treatment facilities. Richard has 34+ years of experience in the water treatment industry, including system start-up, troubleshooting, mechanical repair, operation and service management, and turn-key project management with Continental Water Conditioning Engineered Systems Division, Millipore Corporation, and U.S. Filter prior to joining Purity Water Company. Major start-ups have included companies such as Intel Corporation, Becton Dickinson Pharmaceutical, Squibb & Sons Pharmaceutical, Jet Propulsion Labs, McDonnell Douglas, Ford Motor Company, Firestone, the National Health Institute, and the U.S. Navy. Richard provides this wealth of knowledge to our technical sales department to best serve the customers.

Major start-ups have included companies such as Intel Corporation, Becton Dickinson Pharmaceutical, Squibb & Sons Pharmaceutical, Jet Propulsion Labs, McDonnell Douglas, Ford Motor Company, Firestone, the National Health Institute, and the U.S. Navy.

Bill Maier
Outside Sales

Mr. Maier has served as the company’s Operations Manager, where he coordinated plant operations, production schedules, route and delivery schedules, in addition to his responsibilities in sales for the past six years.

Bill joined Purity Water Company after retiring from the United States Air Force, where he served as a nuclear, biological, chemical and hazardous materials instructor. His experience and leadership skills, combined with his no-nonsense approach has proven to be a valued asset to our customers.

In some recent changes within Purity Water Company, Bill has taken command of our sales department as our senior account representative. This move provides Bill the opportunity to spend more time with our existing customer base, while at the same time continue his efforts growing our company’s target market.

Jan Scofield
Chemical Engineer

Mr. Scofield provides engineering support at Purity Water Company. He is a registered Professional Chemical Engineer in the State of Texas with 30+ years of experience in the ultra high purity water treatment industry. After spending 10 years with Motorola, responsible for all aspects of their ultra high purity water production and distribution systems, he established his own consulting business. He has provided consulting services in all aspects of ultra high water production and distribution for nearly every major semiconductor manufacturer in the world including AMD, Sony, General Electric, Hitachi, IBM, Intel, Monsanto (now MENC), Motorola (Phoenix, Chandler, Mesa, East Kilbride, Austin), Optek, DuPont Photomask, Materials Research Corporation, RCA/Harris Semiconductor, Northern Telecom, Sandia National Labs, SGS Thompson (now ST Microelectronics), Signetics (now Philips) and Texas Instruments. Jan brings that experience to Purity Water Company and to you.
